How We Help
Our chapter supports our philanthropies through a combination of hands-on service, fundraising, and community engagement throughout the year. We regularly volunteer at the Ronald McDonald Houses in New Haven, Connecticut, and Springfield, Massachusetts by cooking meals, baking treats, and assisting with household tasks. These experiences allow us to see the direct impact of our service and provide comfort and encouragement to families.
In addition to volunteering, we host philanthropy events each fall and spring that engage the Quinnipiac community and raise vital funds. Past events have included Diamond Heist, which is our capture-the-flag tournaments in the fall. Our spring event Corey's Court in support of our pi sister Corey and the Dominican republic mission trip. We also collect Pop-Tabs consistently through the year and hold events that create even more fundraisings and supplies for RMH Charities. Through these efforts, our members demonstrate empathy and a shared commitment to our value of service.
